"I assure you, I will not go down without a fight," Japan replied, America's eagerness rubbing off on him.

"Although I haven't been training recently, but instead caught up with homework and such... no matter, this is about having a good time with friends." Japan smiled back at the American.

The Briton rolls his eyes, slapping the American upside the head.
"Not only must you butcher my language, you have to be rude with it too," he says with a relaxed smile on his face.
"'ow are we dividing this one up?" he turns to the Eurasian and Asian countries.

Japan looks off to the distance at Russia. "It seems that Braginski-san isn't in the mood for the game anymore. Perhaps you and Jones-san can play one-on-one so there is minimal confusion on the field?" He was planning on staying by the sidelines in order to analyze the moves of the two before jumping in headfirst to the game.

(Also the fact that I gotta go early tonight because I babysit at 7 tomorrow xP have fun!)

"Oh, alright then..."
Arthur tries to keep the pleasant smile on his face but he can already feel it slipping. Trying to keep himself busy, he tosses the ball between his feet.
"Whatever you're comfortable with, Kiku-san," he says in an accomodating tone of voice.

Alfred grins wide. "That means it's just you and me, Arthur!"

(Yes good luck!!)

Unsure how to really respond, Arthur just nods.
"Quite." The Brit pauses, looking to the American, "Can you even play football by our rules?"
Arthur winces inwardly at his own question. It isn't meant in a harsh way, he ammends, even if it came out that way. He means it as an honest question, seeing that Americans don't play "football" there.

"Of course dude! Us Americans beat the Brits at their own game in 1950! Took the Fifa World Cup right outta their hands! I'm bringing it back, baby!" Alfred jumps and pumps his fist in the air.

The smile became a little more strained.
"Well then, it's safe to assume I can expect your best from you," the Briton answered, still dribbling the ball between his feet.
"Would you like to designate the goals, Jones?"

Although he really has no idea what that means, Alfred just says.. "Nah I'll let you, Iggy"

Arthur looks around the field, catching the ball under his foot for a moment. For awhile he's silent, letting his eyes wander the area before speaking.
"The gap between those two trees is your post, I'm heading for it, and the gate is mine, you're heading for that one."

Also looks around and nods. "Sounds good to me! Ready?"

Arthur gives the sweetest smile that he can muster, batting his eyelashes a bit.
"Whenever you are, Yankee."

Slightly taken back by the Brits sudden flirtatious look, Alfred stumbles over his words. "Steady, R..Ready, ...Go!"

A slightly satisfied look crosses his face and for a few moments the words don't register.
But when the words click, Arthur doesn't waste a moment in time kicking the ball towards himself. He sweeps the black-and-white ball between his feet, looking for an opening past the American but careful to not let one open himself.

Not about to let the Brit show him up, Alfred races right towards him attempting to knock the ball away.

The Britain steps his foot down quickly, hoping to block the American from possession. At the same time, he places a sharp kick with the other foot to aim the ball along in front of him.

He yelps as the ball flies behind him and spins, sprinting to jump in front of Arthur to block.

Immediately the Briton shoots off, trying not to trip over his limbs or Alfred's in the process. Unfortunately for him, that's easier said that done.
The punk nearly trips over his own legs twice and is still a good way away from the ball.

Ivan claps cheerfully, enjoying how much Iggy fails. "Good job, Kirkland."

The Russian's voice cut through his concentration and for a moment the Briton looked up. His hand flew up with his middle and index finger raised in what might have been a "peace" sign but with his palm facing him. Where he came from, that was definately not peace.

Japan gasped at the gesture. He was aware of the message behind it, and wasn't sure of how the Russian would react to it. Hoping that it wouldn't lead to another dispute, the nation resumed back to watching the game.

Russia blinks, thinking maybe that was a sign of love, and shot the sign back with both hands, smiling brightly. "I love you too England!"

Immediately the Briton stops in his tracks, double-taking to the Russian.
"Eh?"

"Ah~ Did you not here me? I love you England!" Ivan yells waving his hands around.

"..."
For once Arthur is rendered speachless as he stares at Ivan. The words click in his head but they don't manage to click. Immediately he looked around, searching for the Chinese delegate that wasn't there.
That was definately the last thing he'd ever think to hear from Ivan directed towards himself.
