Arthur blinks then looks up. He's silent for a moment before he starts to laugh in a rather relaxed way. Once more he leans against the cold wall behind him.
"Green's not your colour, mate. Maybe purple. Or red," he pauses and smirks. "Red seems more of your colour."

Ivan laughs, touching his hair lightly. "Really, da? Red like blood..."

Arthur looks back down at his book as if it was the most interesting thing in the world, "That's one way to certainly look at it."
Once more he pulls his tattered and worn black messenger bag into his lap and begins to rummage through it.
"Yao's country's flag is red, you know."

"Yes... Yes that is true. Red's a pretty color, that's why i made my communist flag red too, neh? Red can suit anyone, especially if i've just used my pipe on them." Ivan said, smiling sadistically at the end of his sentence.

He freezes, his eyes shifting to the Russian's face.
"Is that right? Well, then you can keep your loved pipe over there... I like my flag and country and arse the way that they are."

"Oh, but i thought a little splatter paint would look very good on you're flag, da?" Ivan said, chuckling.

"To each their own, but that flag is perfect as it is," he replies and begins to dig through his bag again.

Ivan chuckles. "What are you looking for?" He asks, leaning over a bit.

Arthur opens the bag a little wider and sighs.
"That bleeding pencil..."
Amongst his school things in the bag is the book he'd been reading (with the cover still concealed), a large notebook, coloured pencils, markers, erasers, and a long black pencillike object with the words "Palladio" written along the side. And yet, he couldn't find the blue and white pencil that was hidden behind his ear.

Ivan chuckled. "What does that pencil look like, neh?" Ivan says.

"It's blue and white with black writing down the side. I could've sworn that I just 'ad it..."
His voice trails off as he starts to pull things out of his bag in search of the little object.

Ivan reaches up and pulls the pencil from Arthur's ear, holding it in front of his eyes. "You are very forgetful, neh?"

"Oi, what the--"
He makes a move to swat the hand away when his eyes latch to the object. The neon-nailed hand grasps to his ear. His face colours slightly as he takes the pencil.
"Thanks," he mutters.

"Ehe~ You're welcome Art." Ivan says, leaning back to his seat. "Mmm why do you need that anyways?"

Arthur pulls his sketchbook from the abyss and shakes it a bit.
"Bored, I s'ppose. Keeps me alert," he murmurs and opens it up to a blank page.

Ivan smiles. "You draw? Or do you write?" Ivan asks.

"Bit of both," he says calmly. "But I draw-r more of'en than I write. S'more relaxing and requires more concentration."
His eyes fasten to one of the delegates on the opposite side of the room and slowly begins to draw.

"Mm, sounds nice. You should draw me sometime, neh?" Ivan says, chuckling.

Looks up at with a raised [humongous] eyebrow.
"Do you want me to?"

Ivan's face brightens up. "Y-yes! I'd really like that." Ivan replies smiling.

"Alrigh' then."
He places the pencil between his teeth and begins to search through his bag again. This time he pulls a rubber [eraser] from the depths and begins to wipe his paper-canvas clean. He sets the rubber on the table and glances back up.
"Is that 'ow you want me to draw you?"

Ivan nods. "S-sure!" Ivan says happily, excited about the drawing.

He pulls the slim pencil between his lips and stares at the Russian boy. A slight smirk curls at his lips and he slowly begins to sketch.
"Calm down, Braginski," he says calmly trying to beat the flush in his cheeks. "It's just a drawing."

"I'm s-sorry, the only other person whose evr drawn me was my sister, and it wasn't really that good...." Ivan admited shyly.

Arthur glances up momentarily, staring pointedly at his eyes.
"Such a shame," he says truthfully. "You're a rather interesting muse. I dun't mean that in a negative way; you've got rather defined features and lovely eyes. They're different."
A slight smile graces his face as he shifts to look at his nose then back to his eyes.
