"Sure it isn't Arhur~ And if i want to hurt him.....I'll have my way with him~" Ivan said happily.

Arthur takes a step forward, only stopping when his mind catches up with the searing pain in his jaw.
"Touch him and pipe or no pipe I will kick your arse from 'ere to Tibucktu and back again."
It wasn't that he liked Alfred, no, no! It was on principle! They were friends and all and... as his good friend, he hated to see anyone touch Alfred in a harmful way that wasn't himself. He had no interests in that American romantically. Nope! Nope! None at all!

"Hehe, Arthur, he'd like it~ That sadist boy." Ivan says, smirking.

"And 'ow on earth do you know what 'e likes?" he asks in a rather calm way, arms folded across his chest.

Ivan froze a bit then looked away. "I don't know what he likes, you must be mistaken, d-da?" Ivan says nodding.

(deja vu, anyone?)

"Eh?" Arthur keeps his arms folded and looks away, chewing on the inside of his cheek. "S'whut you made it sound like, Braginski."

"I'd have to agree," Japan commented too. "Jones-san seems to be too carefree for that sort of... activity," he stumbled, trying to find the right word.

"Hm, i agree with Japan. And, maybe.... i just happened to stumble apon his diary last time i was at his house~" Ivan says smirking.

"Carefree? I think the word you want is childlike and naive."
Arthur perks up slightly. "'is what you found where?"

"I had visited Alfred's home a few days back. Found a little blue book under his pillow~" Ivan said, searching through his bag. "Here it is~" Ivan said, tossing the small book to Arthur.

Arthur manages to catch the book against his chest. His eyes scan the cover thoughtfully and he nods his head.
He glances around then back down at the book, "You're sure you know what this is?"

Japan peeks over Britains shoulder, interested of the contents inside.

Carefully the Brit opens up the book, trying to fight down the fact that he's going to be in so much trouble when Alfred finds out. It's not like he probably doesn't know what's in there or like there's anything important... What could the American possibley hide? Probably just how much of a hero he was for 100-or-so pages.

Ivan smiles. "Maybe. Read it for yourself, da? Never know till you look. But the fact it was under his pillow was quite funny~ I especially like the page 3rd to the last entry. It was all about you Arthur~"

"You read it?" The look of surprise on his face wasn't anything compared to the shock he was feeling at the last statement. Arthur was hardly aware of his hands as he thumbed through the book for the entry.
All about him? What on earth could it say? Probably about his bad cooking or maybe something he'd told Alfred or... No, it couldn't be...

"I never thought Alfred could write something so nice, you know, for being a capitalist pig and all~" Ivan teased looking at the book over his shoulder as well.

After that, it was all or nothing. Interest and curiousty compelled him to read the entry. His stomach was making him nervous and he had to go back and re-read most lines through several times before they made sense; and they still weren't connecting. What was he even reading? Someone needed to teach that boy British English...

Ivan, too, was astonished by Alfred's writing, he could barely read it. "So Arthur, it seems like Alfie does have some sort of feelings for you, but he can't seem to figure them out. That's expected of him i suppose~" Ivan said.

Standing on his toes, the country was trying to read Alfred's scrawly handwriting, but Britain's nervousness caused the book to shake just enough that it was just a bit too hard to get a grasp of what was said.

Arthur swallowed. Was that what it said? Maybe he had read it right then. And maybe the mixed feelings in his stomach wasn't the sickening feeling of bad English.
"Oh, really? Nice, eh? I-I s'ppose..."

Ivan smirked and patted Arthur's shoulder. "Neh, how do you feel then?"

Arthur rubs the back of his neck, closing the book with a polite snap. As best as he can, he tries to keep his voice even and relaxed.
"S'fine. No big deal I mean... It's not like life changing or..."
Internally? Freaking out. I mean majorly.

"Eh?! You must be kidding Arthur~" Ivan gasped out.

"C-Course not. I mean wh-why would I be? S'not like I actually like the bloke like that or anything... Besides that'd mean 'm gay and I am most certainly not gay," the boy wearing guy-liner replied in the coolest manner he could muster.

"YOU'RE not gay? That's like saying Russia is the smallest country in the world~" Ivan replied.
